Shahpur Plant
In early 1997 WESTERN Refrigeration decided to setup a production facility for the manufacturing of Visi-Coolers primarily to cater to the requirement of Coca-Cola India. This plant started commercial production in August 1997 and is located 90kms north of Mumbai at Shahpur. This plant has an installed capacity of over 96,000 units p.a. The plant employs over 200 people and first of its kind in India to use Cyclopentane Insulation (CFC Free ) technology for the manufacture of Refrigeration Equipment’s.
GUJARAT
Silvassa Plant
In mid 1999 WESTERN decided to setup their second plant at Silvassa which is 160km from Mumbai. This plant also has an installed capacity of over 55,000 units p.a. and currently produces different models of Visi-Coolers, Deep-Freezers, Ice-Cream Conservators, and Beverage Dispensers under license from Lancer Corporation (U.S.A). Our flexible production system in this plant has helped us to add more products to our folio.
GUJARAT
Sanjan Plant
In 2014, another state of art plant in Sanjan was set up by WESTERN. Our Sanjan Plant is the largest plant of its kind in South-east Asia with an installed capacity of over 1,000 units per day With Fully Automated Paint Shop, Fully Automated Foaming Plant, & Backward integrated facility of in-house Shelf Production, Coil Production, Wire Harness Production. This plant has the annual production capacity of 2,75,000 units. Peak capacity per month 23000 units.4 manufacturing lines.
GUJARAT
Tadgam Plant
Western Refrigeration's new plant in Tadgam, Gujarat, India, launched production in November 2022, marking their fourth site in India. The expansion has boosted production capacity by 15% for deep freezers and 30% for commercial refrigerators, catering to escalating demand in India, Europe, Asia, and Africa. Situated advantageously in Gujarat, known for its robust manufacturing landscape, stable power supply, and logistical accessibility, the plant strategically lies just 10 km from the Sanjan facility, fostering resource synergy and efficiency. Leveraging IoT technology ensures top-notch quality control, while automation streamlines operations, easing worker load. Plans for solar panels aim to enhance energy efficiency and curb CO2 emissions, signaling Western's commitment to sustainability amid their growth trajectory
